Über diesen Titel

A lonely bookworm. A struggling jock. A snowstorm that steers them together.

Charlie’s got five days working in the library to earn enough for Christmas. Being stuck in the frat house with his secret crush? Torture.

Rich, hot jocks don’t look twice at nerds like him...

Evan’s got five days to finish this stupid paper he can’t wrap his head around. Should he let the cute straight-A Charlie help him? Shit.

He’s gonna see how stupid he is...

I bought this on a whim after finding a few other novels of the author on amazon that sadly were not available as audiobooks. I thought it would be a good way to figure out if I might like the other works of Anyta Sunday available on audible, since it's shorter than any of the others. I also wanted something with minimal drama because drama stresses me out. And it was brilliant! It's short, and predictable, but never once boring. Every important aspect is in this story, none of the things I was worried were going to be forgotten about was left unfinished, but it focused clearly on the interesting and important details (namely, the developing relationship). Both of the characters were very well done and I was relieved to discover that none were over the top. They were just people, and as such really likable and relatable. The descriptions of the way their relationship progressed were also done very natural; it wasn't hurried, but also not drawn out unnecessarily. I also liked that there were no loose ends and this is in itself a finished story that functions very well on its own. I recommend listening!
The reader was also a very good choice for this story, I feel like he really did it justice. He voiced the characters well, his pacing was brilliant, and he has a very pleasant voice. I really enjoyed listening and am now considering buying more of Anyta Sunday's audiobooks, at the risk of encountering more drama in the longer ones.

Exactly what it promised to be
