Living a mid-old oak trees and undulating green hills in the center of the sleepy hamlet of ever-mere, was a tiny child called Lila. She had always dreamed, her brain bursting with tales of far-off locations and fascinating beings. She would look out of her bedroom window at the silver moon every night before sleeping, yearning for an adventure. One evening, when the moon shined more brilliantly than it had ever done, something rather remarkable occurred. Her window started to softly knock. Startled but intrigued, Lila rushed over and gasped at what she found a little owl barely more than her palm, glistening silver feathers shining in the moonlight. "Lila," the owl hooted in a voice like the whispering wind, "I am Noctis, a Messenger from the Moonlit Grove. We need your cooperation. Lila's pulse throbbed with exhilaration. She inquired fervently, "What kind of help?”. “The Star Gem that lights the Moonlit Grove has been stolen," Noctis said.
