I never read anything by Hannah Howell before. I never even heard of her. I just listened to this book bc it was available for free. So I was so surprised about what a treat this book is. I liked the Characters so much. especially Gytha. She is the kind of heroine I like to read about. smart witty reasonable sensible sensual and Bad ass in her own way. I liked the hero too. he has a good heart and humour but he had a Chip on his shoulders and stood a little bit in his own way yet his character was believable and understandable. the story was Solid too. but it Takes too long to come to an end in my opinion. there was a Showdown and then we have one or two too many twists and turns Happening which were totally unnecessary. Mary Jane Wells as always does an excellent Job. I could listend to her all day long. I recommend xoxo
