Robert N. Charrette is a member of the Society of Creative Anachronisms and the La Belle Compagnie. He has worked as a graphic artist, game designer, art director, and commercial sculptor. Other works of the author include A Prince Among Men and Shadowrun series.
Christopher Graybill has performed numerous audiobooks ranging from classic Westerns to science fiction as well as hundreds of commercials and corporate audio narrations. He has also written two short plays, Eye to Eye and Go Look, published by Samuel French.

The plots being executed in the background are sometimes a little hard to follow, but that is just how the books are. And probably the shortening of the story did not help either.
It is more an audio drama then an audio book in some places, making use of some sound effects.
And I have to admit, the age of this is well recognizable, but I still liked it.
If you want to get an idea what how all the mess with the clans and the 'current' state of the great houses came to pass, this is a good opportunity.

Grundsätzlich ist die Audioqualität schlecht und fühlt sich eher nach einer mehrfach überspulten Kassette von vor 40 Jahren an, als nach einer 20 Jahre alten Produktion :-D
Die Geschichte an sich ist trotzdem gut, wenn auch inhaltlich deutlich reduziert im Vergleich zu den Büchern.
