Sports betting didn’t just arrive — it was normalized. In this conversation with Professor Daniel Ladik of the Seton Hall Sports Poll, we unpack how ads, data-driven targeting, and “VIP” psychology turned gambling into everyday pop culture. We talk vulnerable audiences (kids, teens, college-age), why “gamble responsibly” messaging misses the point, and how parlays, push notifications, and personalized offers keep people in action. We also cover what could change: whistle-to-whistle ad limits, real literacy up front (not just after harm), and building a movement that puts consumers first. This channel is dedicated to spreading awareness about gambling addiction and helping individuals better understand the risks of excessive gambling. Through powerful storytelling, educational content, and real-life experiences, we aim to shine a light on the dangers of gambling and provide tools for recovery. Whether you're seeking help, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to learn more, our mission is to create a safe space for open conversations about gambling addiction.
