Über diesen Titel

Team Goals is a podcast with a mission to equip you with world class team skills.

Episodes are based around an elite sporting moment and our panel of guests discuss learnings for working with people be it in business or home life.

Don't sleep on team skills, we believe that when the individual improves the results are incremental, but when the team improves the results are exponential.

  • S1 E3 Saliba blocks, Gabriel rises - How defined roles enable team success
    Sep 29 2025

I'm joined by Peter Lockhart - Construction Project Manager who lead 2x Nightingale Hospital Builds and regular host Andrew K. Aidoo as we analyse a set piece masterpiece in a high pressure moment for Arsenal v Newcastle United.

How can you delegate and motivate for the less glamorous tasks?

In a fast paced project environment how can you ensure time for feedback and appreciation?

What are some tactics you can use when someone's head has gone?

Team Goals is a podcast with a mission to uncover what makes a winning team and how each one of us can improve our team skills.

In every episode we will react to an elite sporting moment from the past weekend and look for lessons we can apply in business.

Any significant undertaking requires many people working together. Ultimately held by each individual relationship and ability to communicate, understand and work together. And yet there is so much focus on individual capability, individual skills, individual results. As the world of football has shown many times assembling highly praised and successful players does not necessarily make a successful team.

    Here’s my hypothesis:
When individuals improve, the results are incremental
When the team improves, the results are exponential

My guests today are Ed Newton, long time CEO of the charity Causeway now working as a Consultant Bid Worker, and Andy Aidoo, a Software QA Leader with 20 years of experience.
