Über diesen Titel
The Detroit Lions’ opener against the Green Bay Packers was a rude awakening. Green Bay looked sharper, faster, and far more prepared, rolling to a 27–13 win at Lambeau. Jordan Love was efficient in command of the offense, while Micah Parsons and the Packers’ defense dictated the game from start to finish.
On the other side, Detroit stumbled badly. Jared Goff struggled under pressure, the run game never materialized, and the offensive line’s breakdowns were glaring. PFF grades tell the story: the Lions came out with some of their lowest marks in recent memory, especially in passing, protection, and special teams. Outside of Brian Branch and Aidan Hutchinson flashing defensively, there wasn’t much to hang a helmet on.
The Packers were the talk of the game — dominating with a balanced attack, opportunistic defense, and the kind of crisp execution the Lions were supposed to bring to the table. This episode dives deep into how Green Bay set the tone for the NFC North and why Detroit’s disappointing grades raise big questions heading into Week 2.
