as there is no similar product in germany, I decided to try this audio course. Pimsleur offers many unusual languages. It was able to complete each unit within a single day and without any repitition. but, completing all modules requires about 15 audio books which is quite expensive.

Als Ehemann einer arabischsprechenden Frau ist es bedeutend, wichtige Wörter und Sätze zu kennen. Meines Erachtens eigent sich das System sehr gut, um gezielt zu Lernen. Das Hörbuch kann sehr flexibel gehört werden. Zum Beispiel eignet es sich sehr gut bei der Autofahrt zur Arbeit. Durch mein Abo bekomme ich monatlich für rund 10 Euro ein neues Hörbuch.

Was genau hat Sie an Arabic (Modern Standard) Level 1 Lessons 1-5 enttäuscht?

ich bin leider ein Lerntyp, der sich nichts merken kann, was er nicht schriftlich gesehen hat. Ich kann arabisch lesen und schreiben und mir fehlt einfach der Text, da hilft es nichts, dass Pimsleur betont, dass das Absicht ist. Für Leute, die ausschließlich über das Gehör lernen, ist der Kurs sicher grandios und unbedingt zu empfehlen - auch wenn er gewaltig ins Geld geht!
