Fantastic book, would be called a page turner if it wasn‘t an audio book. Sorkin is also a great narrator. Highly recommended if this topic interests you.

This book delivers a meticuloualy researched account of the 1929 crisis. Although I found myself fairly well informed about the topic, I found a plethora of little known, highly interesting details. I highly recommend it to everyone interested in economics and/or history.

Detaillierte Nacherzählung der Ereignisse um 1929 herum. Mit dabei ist auch Carter Glass, der sich über Jahre an einer Regulierung versuchte, die ihm dann als prominenteren Teil des Namensgeber der „Glass-Steagall-Act-Duetts“ einen Platz im Geschichtsbuch sicherte.
