Riley Hayes

Riley Hayes is a passionate independent author who weaves magic, mystery, and wagging tails into her heartwarming paranormal cozy mysteries. In her early fifties, Riley believes the greatest puzzles are best solved with a loyal canine familiar by your side and a hot cup of artisan coffee in hand. Drawing inspiration from her own idyllic small-town life, she crafts intricate, fair play whodunits featuring fiercely independent women, quirky communities, and just a pinch of the supernatural.

When she is not meticulously plotting red herrings or ensuring her canine sidekicks save the day, Riley can be found volunteering at the local animal rescue, perfecting her snickerdoodle recipe, and chatting with her dedicated readers. She writes comforting escapism where the world is safe, the puzzles are clever, justice is always served, and no animals are ever harmed, ensuring pure reading joy.
