Before Michele Sims was an award-winning romance author, she was a physician who understood that healing the body and healing the heart require different kinds of wisdom. That understanding is what makes her Moore Family Saga hit differently. Since releasing Seed on Fire in 2018, Michele has earned recognition as a 2024 finalist for the Diverse Readers and Writers' Romance Book Award, won the 2019 RSJ Debut Author Award and the 2018 RSJ Aspiring Author Award, and been featured in Black Fiction Addiction and Romance in Color, but accolades don't tell the whole story. Michele writes multigenerational romance and fiction that explores the full complexity of life, love, ambition, family bonds, and the choices that define us.
