Heather D. Glidewell

Heather D. Glidewell is a proud mother of two, a prolific author, an expert cat‑herder, and an aspiring hammy wrangler. Born in the Midwest, raised in the South, and now rooted in the sun‑soaked Southwest, she brings a blend of grit, charm, and wanderlust to everything she writes.

She crafts stories in urban, dark, and gaslamp fantasy, while also venturing into the thrilling realms of space opera and horror. When she’s not building worlds or wrangling words, Heather can be found blasting heavy metal, watching horror movies, battling dinosaurs in video games, or enjoying nights at the local drive‑in with her kids.

Heather lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with her two children and her beloved fur baby, Jeanie Beanie—the most precious kitty in the desert.
