CHLOE STOWE IS THE AUTHOR OF 17 novels, 3 novellas and 6 short stories in a wide range of genres. After topping the Best Seller lists at two publishing houses, she is transitioning her efforts to self-publishing, the second edition of Ravenscar being the first endeavor. Born in Alabama in 1972, Chloe’s academic pursuits were halted when at the age of 19 she began suffering from debilitating panic attacks. Forced to withdraw from her scholarship to Auburn University, she spent the next 6 years essentially housebound, trapped in her bedroom by the panic. With the help of doctors and medications, Chloe began to rebuild her life. Although still plagued by her chronic panic disorder and the resultant social anxiety, she returned to school and completed her master’s in art history in 2005 from Florida State University. Although unable to work outside the house, she turned to her passion for telling stories as a career, her first novel appearing in 2009. Apart from her 26 published works, Chloe has maintained a daily blog for the last 4 years. With over 750 followers, her posts on writing and mental illness have become one of her proudest accomplishments. Chloe spends her days spinning tales in her home in Florida, with a pen to her first Cozy Mystery and, as ever, her 16-year old furry, four-legged muse at her side. www.chloestowe.net
