The relationship between Quin and Rochelle is very difficult and it drags on for a long time until something finally happens. Smith is a rather unsympathetic guy in this story, but fortunately only a marginal character. But it's definitely worth listening to the story until the end

Die Handlung dreht sich diesmal ganz um Rochelle, Quinn und Bric. Nachdem wir die Wahrheit über Rochelles Verschwinden (Band 1) erfahren haben, braucht das Hörbuch sechs anstrengende Stunden, bis Quinn und Rochelle ihren Beziehungsstatus geklärt haben und das erotische Treiben zu dritt mit Bric weitergehen kann. Smith und Chella, deren starke Charaktere in 'Taking Turns' noch für Knistern und Spannung sorgten, sind hier nur Randfiguren. Und ohne eine starke Geschichte reißen mich auch die erotischen Schilderungen nicht mehr vom Hocker. J.A. Huss hätte es bei einem Band belassen sollen.

Allerdings habe ich das Buch nicht bis zum Ende gehört. Statt dessen fiel meine Wahl auf eine andere Autorin: 'Long Hard Ride' von Lorelei James. Fabelhaft gelesen von Rebecca Estrella und ebenfalls hier auf Audible erhältlich.
