The enemies-to-lovers tension in this book is absolute torture in the best way possible. The chemistry between the characters doesn't just sizzle; it practically melts your headphones. And when that tension finally snaps? Wow. The author does not shy away from the heat. The sex scenes are fully descriptive, incredibly passionate, and written with breathtaking intensity. It is the perfect blend of high-stakes plot and pure, unadulterated spice.

A massive amount of credit goes to the narrator, Bordeaux Black. This voice actress is an absolute goddess! Her voice is pure velvet, and she brings so much emotion, grit, and raw sensuality to the characters. She knows exactly how to pace the intense action scenes and how to deliver the spicy moments to make your heart race. I would listen to her read a grocery list, but hearing her read this book was an experience.

I simply cannot get enough of this world. I was so desperate for more that I went straight to the Audible app and bought every single book by this author I could find. If you want a sci-fi romance that delivers a phenomenal plot alongside unapologetic, top-tier spice, do yourself a favor and get this audiobook immediately.
