I wish I were joking but I’m not. The three main characters stumble into this ménage a trios but neither of them has enough brain cells to navigate such a delicate situation. Also none of them seemed to have any use for their spine so I made ornamental whips out of them. I finished this audio book out of principle because I paid for it but honestly all three main characters are deeply unsympathetic. Carina, the woman, was the only one who was slightly a good person. The spinelessness is so bad then when someone stops acting like a complete fucking doormat for .5 milliseconds it almost feels like they found their spine only to lose it again immediately. I’m happy there is some poly representation but I don’t love those characters.
