Young, impressionable Aubrey is fascinated by the enigmatic Lord Ruthven, and accompanies him on a tour to Europe. But Aubrey develops a growing distaste for Lord Ruthven’s sinister and grotesque conduct - especially as it concerns human blood. This novella, penned during that tempestuous night in Switzerland amongst such notables as Percy Shelley, Lord Byron, and Mary Shelley, served as the great inspiration for Bram Stoker to create Dracula.

I have a simple arrangement with the Faerie Court: I track down the beings they want found and in exchange for that, they let me live. But a girl's gotta eat, even a banished banshee, so I do what I have to, even if that means working for humans. Rent money doesn't grow on trees. Darcey Thorne is one of the last of her kind-a banshee, harbinger of death - but due to a past indiscretion which saw her imprison her ex-lover, she now works as a bounty hunter for the Faerie Court. When the Court jerks her chain and tells her to hunt down MacNa, an old friend, Darcey has to obey.

For a century Bram Stoker's Dracula has reigned supreme as the undisputed masterpiece of horror writing. We have all grown up under the shadow of the elegant Count, at once an attractive, brutal, and erotic creature of the night.

Narrated by award-winning audiobook narrator Mike Vendetti, The House of the Vampire (1907) by George Sylvester Vierick is not only one of the first known gay vampire stories, but it is also one of the first psychic vampire stories - where a vampire feeds off of more than just blood.
