Ike is just a monk who loves his remote cabin in the woods. He hasn’t had any visitors in six years and likes it that way. He’s also a wise-cracking prophet blessed with supernatural gifts and in possession of one of the most powerful weapons of his time - the Misericorde. One stormy night, a woman shows up at his door with a wounded child across her forearms. The child is a princess of an alien race, hated on his planet and is strangely gifted in a way similar to Ike himself.

In the Bible, the prophetic are books written by people chosen by God to deliver messages from him about his people, the future, and the events that he would allow to happen throughout eternity. These prophetic books are important for many reasons. These books give a good understanding of what God’s people were thinking about and focusing on throughout major events of history, while also giving context to the New Testament, and giving the writers of the New Testament prophecies through which to analyze events throughout the life of Jesus.

Prince Ammon has survived exile, betrayal, and the reach of temple power—but survival is no longer enough. As unrest spreads and religious authority tightens its grip, a dangerous new voice emerges in the ancient world: a prophet who speaks openly against the gods of empire and the systems that sustain them. His words draw followers—and enemies—and threaten to unravel the fragile order that governs city, temple, and throne alike.

El profeta da a todos los hombres, de acuerdo con las leyes de Dios, impulsos para reflexionar y respuesta sobre los sucesos y anomalías que tienen lugar en este mundo. Además habla también sobre su tarea y así también sobre sí mismo.
