Remmy grows up with Beth in Bellhammer, Illinois as oil and coal companies rob the land of everything that made it paradise. Under his Grandad, he learns how to properly prank his neighbors, friends, and foes. Beth tries to fix Remmy by taking him to church. Under his Daddy, Remmy starts the Bell Hammer Construction Company, which depends on contracts from Texarco Oil.

In 2008, Roger Igo was a naive construction contractor who lost nearly everything to a businessman whose unethical business practices made the national news. But from the devastation emerged the Bell Tower on 34th, an upscale wedding and special events venue in Houston, Texas, known for its Old World beauty, accommodating staff, and events that no one will ever forget. Keep On Going chronicles the extraordinary history of the Bell Tower on 34th, from pioneering Texans to a disastrous betrayal to one man's fight for the future.
