Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. These deceptively simple lines from the title poem of this collection suggest Robert Frost at his most representative: the language is simple, clear and colloquial, yet dense with meaning and wider significance. Drawing upon everyday incidents, common situations and rural imagery, Frost fashioned poetry of great lyrical beauty and potent symbolism. Now a selection of the best of his early works is available in this volume, originally published in 1916 under the title Mountain Interval.

The last book written by the most famous literary critic of his generation, on the sustaining power of poetry.

Following 2024's sold-out, three-city tour, My Soul To Take: Undead marks the second installment in Joe Arden's live stage experience, My Soul To Take. Through poetry, prose, stories, original writing, and classic pieces of literature, Joe explores the depths of love and the spirits that linger long past life. In two interconnected standalone evenings, join Joe and special guest Andi Eloise as they bring back to life characters and moments from romance and classical literature that evoke the power of immortality and celebrate the timelessness of words.

Few poems have been quoted as often—or misunderstood as thoroughly—as Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken. Published in 1916, it presents a traveler confronted with two diverging paths in a yellow wood and forced to choose between them. On the surface, it looks like a celebration of individuality and choosing the unconventional path. But Frost deliberately makes the two roads almost indistinguishable: both are described as equally worn, and the speaker cannot know where either would have led.

A first collection of bittersweet poems from poet Kodi Roberts. Poems filled with love and heartache. Longing for the unobtainable and the ones who took your spirit. A deep and meaningful book full of words that will be valued by anyone who has ever whispered the words, "I love you" and gotten their heart handed back to them. These honest words will touch your soul and make you long for the past.

Take Five is a powerful invitation to pause and rise. These poems confront life’s uphill battles and elephant-sized troubles with unflinching courage, while reflecting on the quiet strength found in prayer, meditation, and love. Through vivid imagery of forests, storms, and the lotus blooming in mud, the collection inspires readers to see resilience not as survival alone, but as transformation. Each verse is both a rallying cry and a moment of stillness—a reminder that the heart remembers how to endure, and how to rise again.

In this timeline and collection, Diane Lilli returns to the poems of her youth, with transformative imagery that tracks her lifetime of writing poems, landing in 2025. Beginning with her first poem written at eight-years of age, the author continues to share a real-time body of work from different moments of her life, as a fantastical, poetic memoir. Every poem is organized in chronological order, and separated by distinct phases of her life.

Far from being a poet of note or the wordsmith I wish to be, I’ve been flattered by others asking how I do it. Without the benefit of salient literary instruction, I’m urged to write, as providential inspiration may move while caring immensely about the outcome. I have learned that writing poems is cathartic and a wonderful laxative for the mind. Thus, to that question, I responded with the poem Take a Thought…Wholesome and Good to describe my way. That isn’t to say all poets follow the same creative pattern, and surely they don’t—I boast only of myself.

Briefly, this second volume is a mixture of poems and observations. Most of the poems come from a distant past whereas my observations sprang up two years ago.
