This abridgment of Paul Creswick's retelling of the tales of Robin Hood is a journey through forests and fiefdoms in the company of merry outlaws, ladies of court, and stalwart knights.

Here are two of the very earliest surviving Robin Hood stories: Robin Hood and the Potter and Robin Hood and the Knight, both dating from the end of the Middle Ages. Here are Robin Hood, Little John, and the Sheriff of Nottingham, as they were described in the days when knights and monks and potters and outlaws really did go riding, at least occasionally, through the forests of England.
