When the White Rabbit appears with a cryptic warning, Pinocchio learns a shocking truth: he was carved from a tree unlike any other. A mystical Juniper tree brimming with ancient, raw magic called the Deantohr Draiocka. Now, the most sinister villains from every corner of the fairytale realm are hunting him, desperate to tear him apart and forge him into selfish weapons, relics… or a fate far worse.

A lovable but mischievous marionette hopes to become a real boy, but first must learn to work hard, overcome peer pressure, and stop telling lies before his wish is granted. Pinocchio has enraptured the hearts of children and adults alike since 1881. The tale revolutionized Italian children's literature by using comedic characters and minimal adult intrusion to tell a story with a moral lesson. Published as a serial in the Giornale per i bambini, or "Children's Magazine", the stories were compiled into one volume in 1883.

A modern version of Pinocchio, marine Levi Woodyer - known as "Woody" to his special ops team - is on a medical discharge, a man with a haunted past, a painful present and an uncertain future. His father watches, powerless to help his son, as Levi slips further between the cracks, and troubled Levi doesn't seem to be too interested in helping himself. But when his father's simple bribe finally gets Levi out of the house to a physical therapy appointment, his encounter with former high school sweetheart, Linnea Fey, just might put him on the path to wholeness again.
