Phix has spent lifetimes traveling through humanity’s history, searching for the moment everything went wrong. He thought it was the rise of the machines. He thought it was the war that burned entire galaxies to dust. He was wrong. Something else has been erasing humanity before the war even began. Lagrange-4 station vanishes without a trace, its crew wiped from history like they never existed. Earth is next. The correction is accelerating. If Phix doesn’t find the first rewrite, the entire species will be erased—not just from the future, but from all of time.

As the search for their missing teammate turns desperate, Dalton withdraws into himself. He becomes angry, violent, and uncontrollable, directing his anger mostly at Vestera Hizoku, the all-powerful dragon that had refused to tell him the secrets Yokouro DeVastes held. While the human-inhabited realms declare states of emergency, everyone in the Realm of Demons bands together to help find the final member of Team Dalton, desperate to keep the devastation to a minimum. The dragons also travel to the Demon Realm threatening to overthrow Vestera and impose a new regime within the dragon clan.
