Codependents Awake presents twelve true stories of awakening from entrapment. Eleanor Cowan invites listeners to recognize harmful relationship patterns and reclaim autonomy, self-respect, and a stronger sense of self. From the author of A History of a Pedophile’s Wife —also available in French as Mémoires d’une épouse de pédocriminel —this companion collection offers recognition rather than prescription. Through intimate, painful, and hopeful stories, readers are invited to question what they once called love or loyalty and consider the possibility of healing and flourishing.

Angela Smothers has lived through the kind of darkness most people don’t come back from — addiction, abuse, heartbreak, and rock bottom moments that could’ve ended it all. But through faith, grit, and a love that never gave up on her, she found her way back to life... and then some. In A Bright Future, Angela opens the door to her past with raw honesty and soul-deep wisdom. Part memoir, part motivational guide, this book walks listeners through the wreckage — and then shows them how to rebuild.
