Tom G. Plumb, CFA is the Principal of Wisconsin Capital Management, a firm he has led since its founding in January 2004. The firm traces its roots back to 1984, formerly operating as Thompson Plumb & Associates. In addition to his leadership role, he serves as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst, bringing over 30 years of experience in the financial industry.For two decades, he was the Lead Manager of two prominent balanced mutual funds: the Thompson Plumb Balanced Fund and the Dreyfus Premier Balanced Opportunity Fund, where he developed a reputation for disciplined investment strategy and long-term performance.He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and an active member of the Madison Investment Management Society.Outside of finance, he is a cigar aficionado, with a refined appreciation for the world’s finest tobaccos.
