  • Wild Voices: Starting a safari camp against advice... Plus some bonus photo banter
    Jun 18 2026

In this episode, Laura is joined by photographer and conservationist, Paul Goldstein where they continue on from the previous episode focusing on Kenya and starting a small safari camp 26 years ago, against advice, that has now turned into one of the most recognisable and reputable safari brands in Kenya.

Known as a guide of ‘psychotic gusto’, we discuss what makes a good photo, whether he has ever taken one, and how originality is getting harder and harder to achieve.

I also brave one of his infamous ‘photo surgeries’, putting my much-loved photo frames through his clinical assessment… …and return the favour…

  • Wild Voices: From insanity in a tiger suit to frost nip at -40
    May 26 2026

In this episode, Dan is joined by photographer and conservationist, Paul Goldstein where they have a no holds barred discussion on everything from completing 50 marathons dressed in a tiger suit, to getting frost nip in the frozen Baffin Island wilderness at -40 degrees...

Paul has spent his life campaigning to conserve and protect wildlife raising over £750,000 for various wildlife causes . He is outspoken in almost everything and has the ‘correct’ opinion on virtually any topic - from trafficking wildlife species, the best English cricket allrounder and the top 20 movies of all time, as well as the 10 most corrupt presidents ever… It’s a trait that has landed him in hot water over the years and he’s not welcome in some countries.

He treats that as a badge of honour.

Underneath everything though, is a giant heart with a huge desire to conserve and protect wildlife - to get involved, get his hands filthy, and physically do something tangible, that makes a difference. Join us as we bring you the first of our dedicated Wild Voices episodes where we speak to real people at the forefront of conservation.
