Marine Corps Forces Pacific Command - Major

As a partner in IPS Pump Services, I wear many hats. Most of my efforts are focused around business development, project management, and maintaining relationships with our petrochemical and maritime transport customers. 

As the vice president of business development for Industrial Packing and Seals, my center of focus is on maintaining customer relationships.

As a major in the Marine Corps working for Marine Corps Forces Pacific Command, I am tasked with advising the commanding general on various matters concerning the nation’s military presence and priorities within the greater Indo-Pacific Combatant Command as they pertain to the United States Marine Corps as prescribed by the President’s National Defense Strategy, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s Defense Planning Guidance, and the Commandant’s Planning Guidance from the Commandant of the Marine Corps.

HEIDI HANSING
CO-FOUNDER

Heidi comes from a long family tradition of patriotic values and military service. She enlisted in the US Army as a 17-year old freshman in college and served simultaneously in the US Reserves and ROTC until her graduation and commissioning.

She graduated with a BA degree in International Affairs, a Specialty in Soviet Politics, and a Minor in Military Science. As an officer, she earned her jump wings at Airborne School before serving the remainder of her active duty service overseas.

Since her separation from military service, Heidi has been a small business owner and investor. She has served as a humanitarian aid director in the south Yucatan, Mexico.

Heidi is fiercely politically independent and served on the executive board of a renowned grassroots organization. She is extremely adept in the legislative process and trained many citizen lobbyists. She owned and operated a firearms dealership, specializing in self and home defense for women. For several years, she was a popular hard-hitting radio personality in Texas politics. She was honored to be elected to serve her community on the City Council of League City, Texas.

Now politically retired, Heidi is a cross-country adventure motorcyclist and freelance book narrator. She remains active in veteran's advocacy and volunteerism, serving those who have served us. She is, above all, a proud Blue Star Mom.

FOUNDER

Crystal Lee Laramore is the Founder and Executive Director of  Wheelchairs for Warriors. WFW was founded on December 6 2016 and has been recognized by the State of Texas as well as Galveston County, where its HQ is located. Wheelchairs for Warriors serves veterans and first responders who cannot get assistance from normal sources. Crystal’s love for the military, and those who wear a uniform to protect and serve, comes from a family history steeped in the American tradition of serving our country; a passion that runs deep in her family roots. W​it​h​ this burning desire in her heart to serve, Crystal worked for the Department of State (DOS) in Baghdad, Iraq from 2004-2006. She served as a liaison officer to the Ambassador to Iraq, John Negroponte, and received a letter of commendation from the DOS. It was this experience that sparked the fire in her to found an organization that serves warriors. ​Noticing the gap between what our wounded warriors NEED and what they are afforded, Crystal and co-founder Heidi Hansing set out on a mission to provide better wheelchair solutions that would allow wounded veterans and first responders to regain some of their independence and give them the ability to ROLL STRONG! Crystal, along with Wheelchairs for Warriors, received the Four Chaplains Bronze Medal Humanitarian Award in 2023.
