Über diesen Titel

Valhalla is a journey through the vast and restless landscapes of the soul, where life and death intertwine in an eternal dance. With echoes of Yeats and the solemn beauty of Norse and Gaelic mythology, Italian poet Marcella Boccia weaves verses that explore longing, loss, and the relentless passage of time. These poems, both intimate and universal, delve into the weight of existence, the inevitability of fate, and the fragile beauty of fleeting moments. Between the whispers of ancient warriors and the melancholy of those left behind, Valhalla is a poetic testament to the search for meaning beyond mortality. A collection for those who find solace in the mystery of the stars and the stories written in the wind.2025 Kunst Sozialwissenschaften

A Love that time betrayed (Marcella Boccia)

The restless waves still speak of you
a whisper carved in salt and stone
as if the sea itself once knew
what longing hearts have always known
Beneath the stars we burned so bright
two flames that danced and dared to dream
but fate was cruel and stole the night
    unraveled love unstitched the seam
Yet time may bend and winds may wane
the world may crumble dim decay
but I will call and call in vain
for love that time could not betray

A storm beneath our skin (Marcella Boccia)

    Beneath the moon
    the waves do roar
    but it’s your touch
    that shakes me more
    The salt
    the winds
    they call our names
    as fire dances
    untamed flames
    Your fingers trace
    the lines of war
    as Norsemen’s blood
    begins to pour
    A storm
    a tempest
    fierce and wild
    we are the children
    nature’s child
    A ghrá
    you’re mine in ancient cries
    your breath a storm
    beneath the skies
    And though the world
    may fall apart
    we hold the tempest
    in our heart

Devour me in the dark (Marcella Boccia)

    The wind howls
    through the broken hills
    a beast unchained
    a lover still
    Night’s tide is high
    the stars are lost
    our souls adrift
    the fjords are crossed
    Your shadow moves
    like whispered sin
    a storm that stirs
    the fire within
    The runes have burned
    upon my skin
    old gods still carve
    where love has been
    No prayer
    no fate
    no morning spark
    just endless thirst
    devour me in the dark
