    Last week I shared an instagram post that said - you aren’t too expensive, you’re just attracting the wrong people. And this is the perfect example of having not effectively positioned your brand in the market.

    If people are telling you that you are too expensive, it is because you haven’t demonstrated the value of your product. There is often a misalignment between where you believe the product sits in the market and where the customer does.

    While we cannot control other people's thoughts and opinions, however we can influence them, and within your marketing is where that should be happening.

    In this episode, not only do I dive deeper into a discussion on branding and positioning, I'm giving you a real life example or how, in my corporate days, we worked to completely reposition a fashion brand into a new market.

    Jess has been a licensed esthetician for 20 years and in the world of beauty for more than 22.

    Jess enjoyed working with many clients in different spa settings, learning and working on many different skin concerns. She was the National Educator for Kerstin Florian International along with the Director of Sales and Education for Kate Somerville skincare. 

    In 2012, Jess began to learn about the ways in which harsh and unnatural ingredients applied topically to skin can be harmful to our bodies. She discovered the typical skin care product on the shelf had questionable ingredients, while the more natural products that were available, left her unimpressed. Utilizing her knowledge and vast expertise in the health and beauty industry, Jess began hand-crafting her own natural products with one goal in mind: modern beauty and pure results.

  • Know, Like and Trust.... Buzzword or actually important?

    If you’ve been hanging out in the online business space for a little while you will no doubt have heard the phrase "Know, Like and Trust" thrown around a little bit. 

    One of the problems I currently see (or hear), is phrases like this being picked up and unfortunately used in a really generic way, - they lose their meaning, the weight the had behind them and feel like they become sort of 'buzz words'.
