Beginning her DJing career in her mid 50’s Janet is a credit to anyone saying “I can’t do that, I’m too old”.

A reggae selector with roots firmly in the music scene, Janet has been attending festivals since the early days and shares her unique experience as a DJ and love of music.

Arriving at her experimental sound after a decade on the scene, Nikki Tesla’s Birmingham roots interlace with a love of ambient soundscapes to form a winding fabric of bass-heavy rollers. Describing her sound as somewhere between swamp-squelch and percussive groove, Tesla’s mixes intricately straddle the dancefloor and listening party.

Using her platform as a radio host on Soho Radio and Community Director for female and gender minority collective Selextorhood, she actively addresses the deep-rooted gender imbalances prevalent throughout the electronic music scene.

Nikki is now based in London and has just launched a new venture, The Sauna Social Club. Based in Peckham and filled with ambient sounds and well-being.
