What was due us (humanity) was death, but God is His mercy didn’t discard us, instead He extends mercy to us and grace. In faithfulness to His compassionate nature, He preserved humanity so that He could get out of us what He originally purposed for us. By walking close to God and obeying Him we can lay hold to the hope, the victory He has established for us, which is redemption in Christ Jesus, the hope of glory.
