2025 has been another incredibly strong year for music and this is reflected across the choices of the panel with lots of different genres represented, hidden gems discussed and some big mainstream records talked about too.

In the first of a two part double header, Iain is joined again by the round table team of Ben and Billy (sadly Kev was ill) to discuss the year of 2025 in records!

On this first episode, they talk through their favourite reissues and compilations of the year across a whole host of genres including boxsets, comps and other releases.

Iain is back after a small hiatus with the record review for the month of November where he reviews new releases from White Lies, Futureheads, James and Doves.

On this short episode, he also talks through the new Beatles "Anthology 4" release, talks through a few pre order bits and discusses what's left to come for the rest of the year on the podcast.

Those in the UK will recognise Jeff as Cain Dingle from the TV show, Emmerdale but hes a huge record collector and also dj's the vinyl format too.

Jeff picks out some of his recent finds and favourite records too and they chat a little about the opening of Roker Records in Sunderland too.

Kate, or more commonly known as her stage alias This Is The Kit, has been a constant in the UK Folk music scene for a number of years now releasing six studio records and a number of Eps and singles over almost two decades of recording music.

Kate and Iain discuss her record collection and inspiration over the years for writing her music, life on the road as a touring artist, collaborating with bands such as The National and her upcoming concerts with Jessica Hoop playing the music of Joni Mitchell.
