  • Local Bands: Tarnish and Eyes of Salt
    Feb 16 2026

On this episode we talk about the Sacramento pop punk band Tarnish and the Colorado melodic hardcore band Eyes of Salt. Both of these bands are incredible and were a ton of fun to listen to. Tarnish definitely brings the story so far sound but add another dynamic to it by being heavier. They've changed their sound a bit from when they started playing back in the early 2020s, but every change has brought great growth and skill. https://www.instagram.com/tarnish.ca/?hl=enEyes of Salt are one of the only bands we've heard be able to make the Comeback Kid sound done right. They are fast, aggressive, and have incredible lyrics about the hard topics going on right now. This is a band that we need and they are absolutely crushing it. https://www.instagram.com/eyesofsalthc/?hl=en

  • Band Interview: Outpost 31
    Feb 10 2026

On this episode we talk to our buddies, Rob To Live (Will to Live, True Intentions, etc) and Chris (Die Young TX, Swivel) about the John Carpenter's The Thing inspired Thrash band, Outpost 31.

It was so cool to see how much work went in to this concept album. It was created to be able to listen to it with the movie front to back in order. It pays a lot of homage to old Thrash and old Horror movies and we absolutely loved it!
