Quitting Kratom: A Personal Journey Through Addiction and Recovery

On this episode of The Memo Show, I share my recent experiences with a substance known as Kratom.

Join me as I discuss the importance of awareness, honest recovery, and the hidden dangers lurking in these everyday, widely available products.

Not just for addicts in recovery, but for those who have never struggled with substance abuse before. This product does not discriminate.

Note: This episode aims to raise awareness about a legal but potentially harmful substances like Kratom and encourages openness around addiction and recovery efforts. If you or someone you know is struggling, remember you're not alone, and help is available.

  • Ep. 8 Robert Lysobey on Writing, Inspiration, Ideas, Pretentiousness, and Cliches
    Jul 19 2024

On this episode of The Memo Show:

I have a fast paced (slow paced for those of you with ADHD) and hilarious interview with my dear friend Robert Lysobey. He is an author/writer (and do I dare say - comedian?) and he talks to us about everything from his battle with weight gain, his first glimpse into how writing filled the void in his soul, his favorite authors, Outfielder in the Wheat, and his adventures as a teen forcing his pretentious ideas and poems on an inappropriate and uninterested demographic.

But also way more in between.

Come with us on a journey into the mind and down the banks of a mad man’s stream of consciousness.

    It’s worth every hysterical second.

Also, Pete thinks I died. And took all my stuff.
