As we step into a new year, God is calling His church to more than just church attendance — He’s calling us to obedience. This week we launch a new series called “Your Part Matters.” Church isn’t about filling seats, protecting preferences, or maintaining routines. It’s about surrendering personal agendas to God’s design and stepping into the role He has assigned each of us in the body of Christ. The church doesn’t grow stronger when a few do everything — it thrives when every believer does their part with the right attitude and Christ-like mindset. This series will challenge comfort and tradition, confront complacency and self-importance, and call us back to biblical community that honors Jesus Christ.

Today we continue our Advent series The Arrival with a powerful and humbling message from Philippians 2:5–11 titled “The King Who Came Low.” This passage confronts us with the staggering truth that the King of Heaven laid aside His glory, took on the form of a servant, and humbled Himself all the way to the cross. And the same Jesus who came low will one day be exalted before every knee. As you join us this morning, open your heart to the One who stooped to save you and now calls you to follow Him. In a dark and restless world, real peace is still found in only one place — Jesus Christ. As we see in Luke 2, Simeon praised God for the prince of peace that he was able to see as he was promised. We pray that our time of worship today will be a blessing to you!
