In the picturesque countryside within the county of Somerset in England. Drivers carefully travel through the twisting roads the weave in and out of pockets of woodland. There is one stretch of road where within those shadows, the atmosphere changes and the birdsongs fall silent. And then sometimes without any warning - a figure steps into the road. Impossible to avoid, drivers hit their brakes and wait for the impact. But there isn’t any, and when exiting the vehicle to examine the area – it’s just an empty road, the figure seen walking into the road has vanished. The unknown figure is the subject of many conversations by the local population – all too aware that folklore warns us that the road is haunted by a witch.
