  • Episode 261 – Hokum/Over Your Dead Body
    Jun 11 2026

Things are getting weird this week on The Grave Plot Podcast.

First up, we’ve got another helping of Real World Horror, where we discuss a Catholic exorcist who found himself in hot water after publicly suggesting that UFOs might actually be demons in disguise. Whether you believe in little green men, little red devils, or neither, it’s certainly one of the stranger stories we’ve covered lately.

Then it’s time for Horror Business, where we strap on our proton packs for a brand new animated Ghostbusters series, venture back into the woods for yet another trip to visit the Blair Witch, and check out the latest from reunited power couple Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett, who appear ready to unleash absolute chaos with their upcoming action-horror hybrid Onslaught. We also take a look at Colony, the new infection nightmare from the director of Train to Busan, before capping things off with perhaps the most bonkers premise of the week: a Christmas-themed horror-action movie featuring a family, a cult-like obsession with the holidays, and a rogue badass Santa Claus.

Then it’s review time. First, we head to a remote cabin for Over Your Dead Body, a darkly comedic bloodbath starring Jason Segel and Samara Weaving as a married couple whose romantic getaway goes spectacularly off the rails. After that, we venture into the misty Irish countryside with Hokum, the latest supernatural chiller from Oddity director Damian McCarthy, blending folklore, grief, and creeping dread into one unsettling package. Between murderous spouses and haunted legends, we’ve got plenty to dig into this week.

So grab that special someone, bring ’em in tight, and settle in for another episode of The Grave Plot Podcast!

    May 28 2026

No, your eyes do not deceive you. Yes, this is episode 260. No, there is no episode 259 (yet). You’re probably thinking at this point, “what the blue hell are you even talking about?” All will be revealed.

Also being revealed is the Real World Horror of a witch doctor releasing a swarm of bees in the courtroom where he’s being tried for, you guessed it, witchcraft. We also discuss Horror Business about Halloween Horror Nights being taken over by vampires, Jason Voorhees coming to Dead by Daylight, and a couple of notable remakes. We also examine a new trilogy from the legend Dario Argento.

For our film reviews, we discuss a hotel full of devil worshippers, invincible serial killers, and Shnevely from Harry Potter (you remember Shnevely) in They Will Kill You. We also take a trip to the brightly painted nightmare realm of Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round and descend into madness, surrounded by puppets.

So get up, get down, and party hardy with The Grave Plot Podcast!

  • Episode 256 – I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025)/Bring Her Back
    Jan 22 2026

Things are getting a little too hot this week on The Grave Plot Podcast.

Before we dive into reviews, we kick things off with Horror Business, including a truly bizarre Real World Horror story involving a family who believe they’ve been cursed after an encounter with a mysterious holy man… followed by a series of unexplained fires. Whether it’s supernatural, coincidence, or something far stranger, it’s the kind of story that feels ripped straight out of a horror movie.

From there, we run through a stacked batch of genre news, including the continued expansion of the Poohniverse, which is now barreling toward an all-out monster mash crossover. We also talk Mike Flanagan officially stepping into The Exorcist franchise, a sequel to the slasher Stream being penned by one of the Impractical Jokers, a Christmas-set Return of the Living Dead sequel shambling toward release, and Eli Roth teaming up with Snoop Dogg for a haunted house movie with a title that pretty much says it all.

Then it’s time for reviews. We revisit sun-drenched slasher nostalgia with 2025’s I Know What You Did Last Summer, breaking down whether this legacy sequel earns its resurrection or should’ve stayed buried. After that, we close things out with Bring Her Back, a much darker and more intimate horror film that gives us plenty to chew on.

So spark up your campfire stories, keep your cursed artifacts at arm’s length, and join us for another fresh descent into madness with The Grave Plot Podcast!

  • Episode 255 – Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025)/Silent Night, Deadly Night 2
    Jan 8 2026

The holidays may be over, but The Grave Plot boys are still rockin’ around the Christmas tree!

We’re back with one last stocking-stuffer of an episode, packed to the brim with Horror Business and just enough yuletide rot to make your tinsel curl. This week’s news sack includes a truly unsettling Real World Horror story about orcas apparently deciding that boats are chew toys, a massive Dracula-themed mega-park rising from the dead outside Bucharest, Netflix sinking its fangs into a true-crime classic, Kumail Nanjiani stepping behind the camera for a new genre project, and Full Moon unleashing a whole crypt full of gloriously unhinged new productions. We also unwrap news on the grindhouse sequel Shiver Me Timbers 2, because nothing says “seasonal cheer” like cartoon icons on a chainsaw-fueled rampage.

Oh and what’s that? That shiny box hidden behind the tree? Well it’s two festive film reviews! We take on the infamous cult classic Silent Night, Deadly Night 2, followed by a look at the brand-new Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025)—because if you’re going to keep the spirit of Christmas alive, you might as well do it with murder.

So pour some spiked eggnog, kick back in your ugly sweater, and join us for one last holiday hangover with The Grave Plot Podcast. The tree may be coming down… but the horror never does.

  • Episode 254 – Bambi: The Reckoning/Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare
    Dec 11 2025

    Get ready for story time.

Before we get to that, though, we’ve got to do a little Horror Business. In Real World Horror, we discuss a woman who was almost buried alive, or worse. We then go on to talk about a movie being called “American Psycho meets An American Werewolf in London,” as well as ANOTHER Paranormal Activity movie. We also break down a team-up of two horror legends, a horror biopic about a Rat Pack member and the Church of Satan, and a video game adaptation from a famous content creator.

Then, get ready to have your childhood ruined as we review two new twisted fairy tales from the creators of the… sigh… Poohniverse. Prepare to sprinkle a little fairy dust and think happy thoughts because we’ve got the most sinister Lost Boy ever in Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. This is followed by a deadly doe with a taste for blood and a bone to pick in Bambi: The Reckoning.

So pull up a pillow and a cup of cocoa and prepare to have your nostalgia turned to nightmares with The Grave Plot Podcast!
