From a life-altering accident on the Snake River to a miraculous experience while mountaineering in Wyoming, Scott learned early on that not only is there a God, but that He is aware of and watching over each of us always. Through experiences on his LDS mission and later as a mission president, that testimony continued to grow. And through that testimony and the tender mercies of the Lord, Scott has been able to continue to see and be grateful for God's hand in his life, even during one of the the deepest heartbreaks of losing his granddaughter. His stories are a powerful reminder that Heavenly Father knows each of us personally and is aware of our needs, our struggles, and our lives.

When Lee and his son Mason set off in the early morning hours to start their archery elk hunt, they had no idea how the day would end. With elks bugling and the sun just rising, it was sure to be a successful day. But just as the day started, it almost ended for Mason, who was stung multiple times by some ground nesting yellow jackets, resulting in anaphylactic shock. With no medicine, no help, no reliable communication, and no direct means of transport, it's nothing short of a miracle he survived.
