  • 053: Creating A Daily Routine Is The Secret to 2026
    Jan 14 2026

I decided to get a little personal this episode. I don't know if it's due to all of the events 2026 has already brought, or if my age is playing a role. If there's one thing I've learned, life is way too short to be serious all the time.

So I decided to discuss with you what has helped me get through 2025, and what I plan to continue doing in 2026 to make it as successful of a year as possible.

If there's one thing I could recommend for you is this: Love often, avoid drama, be slow to anger, and do the best you can at whatever it is you are doing.

  • 052: It's Time To Protect Our Churches
    Jan 2 2026

In this New Year's special episode, Tyler Burns and Cody Randall reflect on their holiday experiences and discuss the importance of church safety with guest Ben Fries, a police officer who trains church safety teams. They explore the need for legal defense in self-defense situations, the impact of mental health on first responders, and the significance of community engagement and basic firearm training. The conversation emphasizes the importance of empowering civilians and the role of non-profits in supporting church safety initiatives.

We're talking about a serious incident today, where a gunfight served as a wake-up call for officers regarding the need for personal legal assistance. This experience highlighted how crucial it is to have a lawyer and a strong law firm on your side, emphasizing the importance of understanding your legal rights in such situations. It truly showed that self defense extends beyond the physical, into having proper legal representation.

  • 051: Humor Is The Best Medicine
    Dec 24 2025

Anyone who faces tragedy and evil on daily basis will tell you, humor is the best coping mechanism there is. Humor can appear at any time or place. It doesn't matter if we are in a restaurant, in the car, or on a scene. We can make just about any situation funny.

Obviously some people in the general public don't understand our humor. And it be honest, it can get pretty dark rather quickly. That doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with us (Ok we know there's something wrong with us), but to be quite honest, it means we care.

While we try to keep our humor to ourselves as to not make others uncomfortable, sometimes mistakes happen. In this episode we share some stories, we share some laughs, but most importantly, we discuss why we are the way we are.
