  • The Partnership Principle
    Apr 10 2026

This interview with Amy and Nate Bowers highlighted the power of relationships—both with each other and through their work with horses. Amy is a trainer and eventer who teaches lessons and clinics for horse owners across the U.S. Nate is also a trainer who works with cattle and offers cow clinics. Both are passionate horse people, and both are highly ambitious. Amy was ranked No. 23 among the top equestrian influencers, and Nate won the competitive trail divisions at the Thoroughbred Makeover. But what stood out to me most in speaking with them was something even more valuable: their supportive, healthy relationship. They shared so much wisdom about partnership, including insights like, "You can have roots or wings," and, "If you're not going to remember the argument in five years, is it really worth having?"
