When Luna presses play, her own voice comes out—older, wearier—warning her not to open the door behind the stove. She opens it anyway. At the bottom of a hidden passage lies another recorder, identical, playing a stranger's voice. They run. But back home, the first recorder is gone, replaced by a blank cassette with the red record button still waiting. The entries describe a person trapped—first grateful, then terrified—convinced that their own reflection is leaving food, moving the lamp, answering notes. The final page reads: 'I saw my reflection in the water cup. It smiled. I don't smile.' They took the notebook out. Days later, when they returned, the stone door was sealed again, and inside the cell there was a second notebook with one sentence written in handwriting that exactly matched Luna's own: 'You shouldn't have come back.'
