  • Tell No Tales Returns...
    Apr 3 2026

Hi everyone, Leon here, writer and producer of Tell No Tales, voice of Leo Quinn, and finally, after almost two years, the bearer of good news! Tell No Tales will be returning on Monday 4th May (shortly after its 4th birthday!), and will continue releasing weekly on Mondays for the remaining nine episodes of season two. The teaser you’re listening to now contains clips from the next four episodes, and there’s so much more to come.

I want to apologise again for the delay and to say just how much I appreciate the kind words and patience from those of you who have reached out to me during the hiatus. The last two years have been an absolute onslaught of unexpected turns in my life, some good, some bad, and it turns out trying to make it as a full-time author is not for the faint of heart (who would’ve guessed?). I also want to say, unequivocally, that these delays were entirely on my end. The actors who worked on this season were absolutely fantastic, and sent in their lines long before season two started releasing. It was the sound design and production elements, both tasks that are solely my responsibility, that caused the hiatus to go on for as long as it did. But the last thing I wanted to do was to risk ending the hiatus too soon, and eventually finding myself back in the same position where I was unable to keep up with the weekly releases. I’m now finally confident that I can release the rest of the season to the best of my ability with no further interruptions, so thank you all again for bearing with me while I worked towards that.

Finally, I’m aware that it’s been a long time since S2E16 was released, which is why I’m announcing this now, a month in advance. If you need time to re-listen and refresh your memory, now is the time to do it. But if you’d rather not, we’ve posted a little re-cap on our tumblr of the story so far. If you haven’t caught up yet, proceed with caution. Spoilers abound.

I have missed making this show more than I can say, and I’m so excited to share the rest of this story with you. See you next month, and remember: the dead don’t bite (yet).
