Season 3, episode 5- Happy Holidays 🎄

We have officially started the festive season. Thanksgiving done, Christmas fun on the way with parades, lunches, dinners and generally eating far too much. What have we got planned this year and how Americans do it bigger and some times better. 2025 wrapped!

Series 3, episode 4 - Have you missed us? Have you even noticed? Since our last record we have been so busy that we haven’t had a chance to get together for a chat and a cuppa. Jemma has been back to the UK and Kirsty has been entertaining her parents. We chat about the highs and lows of both in this episode.

Series 3, episode 3- Boston baby and it IS my first rodeo It’s the annual British mum’s trip and this year it was a weekend in beautiful, historic Boston, Massachusetts. We explore the sites on foot, bus and bikes, and enjoy all the delicious food on the way. We also visited a local NC travelling rodeo and took our lives in our hands sitting on very scary bleachers.

This week is all about moving for love. Susie met her husband on a US military base in England and followed him to the states, a country that she hadn’t even visited for a holiday (vacation for our US listeners). She now lives in NC with her beautiful young family.

Sick kids, suspicious sniffles, and a full-blown case of husband man flu — it’s been a week. ET might’ve phoned home, but we were too busy cleaning up tissues and chaos. It’s just a little matter really… and of course, we had a little chat (or a full-on moan) about it all.

Series 2, Episode 8 - Interview with Rebecca

Today we have a little chat to another Brit Abroad and how her and her young family ended up here. Evie did a great job keeping her 2 year old entertained with endless Bluey, while we discussed how Rebecca went with the flow and started a new life in NC. Thanks Rebecca who was great and also baked for us!
