We are back with another Spooktober episode. This time Arijit and I are joined by Ekata as well as The Queen is Dead podcast's Dhruv, Cris, and Amartya. We discuss three classic (Suspiria, Kuroneko, Texas Chainsaw Massacre) that we more or less love and three current year (The Shrouds, Sinners, Weapons) horror films. The conversation spanned for way too long, but it was fun having it nevertheless.

Hello everyone, we are here with another episode of the podcast where we talk about one of our film godfathers - David Lynch, who unfortunately passed away this year. Arijit and Tuhin are joined by Srijan and Dhruv (we really need his Zoom) to talk our favourite Lynch films, his impact on cinema and culture, and why we love his work. Loved this insightful and long discussion for a filmmaker we adore.

Hi everyone,

We are back with the 12th episode of Talking Pictures, and we have another episode of Auteur Archive, in which we discuss the one and only Martin Scorsese, one of cinema's greatest artists.

We love his movies, his film appreciation, and his film archival work, so we talk about all of that. We discuss his early movies—Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, The King of Comedy, and Raging Bull—along with his cinephilia and how he inspires us to go to the theatres and seek and talk about movies, his Film Foundation work, his Marvel opinions and what we think of it. Cinema will be forever indebted to him.

We were joined by Dhruv from The Queen is Dead podcast and Akashdeep, a filmmaker, who will join us for the other Scorsese recordings as well.

We also have a voice note from Vikas from Australia about Scorsese and what he loves about his films. You can send us voice or text notes about Scorsese or how he has inspired your love for films, and we will include them in the upcoming episodes.

Reach out to us on your Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/_talking.pictures_/ and DM us there so that we can figure something out.

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Episode 11 of the podcast, where Arijit and I are joined by Ekata, Dhruv, and Dipanjan; who's appearing for the first time.

This is the first time we are discussing horror movies on the podcast. I am not that big on horror but the others are and we together discussed our first trysts with horror films, scariest and memorable horror movie experiences, including those on the big screen, and everything horror from Stephen King, Aahat episodes to which Suspiria is better.

We also discuss different controversial horror opinions. It was so much fun. We are going to do deep dives on horror subgenres in future episodes.

Disclaimer - We had audio issues while recording this episode. Since we had guests, of course, we couldn't possibly re-record this. We have tried to correct the issues as much as possible, but they still remain. Apologies for the audio quality in advance.

Welcome to another episode of Talking Pictures. This week we are joined by three guests - Soumya - who has been here on our 2023 favourites episodes, Runcil, and Ekata - both of whom are appearing for the first time (hopefully not the last). We discuss one of our favorite directors - DAVID FINCHER!

We talk about what we love about him and what makes him great, and everyone talks about a particular film from his filmography that they like.

I hope you like the episode, and let us know your favorite Fincher film in the comments! See you next time.
