    Happy New Year everyone and welcome to the first episode of 2026! This is the beginning of Season 2 on the TRVL° Photography podcast. We are joined in our first episode by Rachael Talibart.Rachael is a British fine art photographer renowned for her dramatic seascape and coastal imagery, capturing the raw power and intensity of the ocean. Raised on the south coast of England, her deep connection to the sea informs her distinctive style, most notably in her acclaimed Sirens series of storm-driven images named after mythological figures. Formerly a City of London solicitor, she transitioned to photography full time after embracing digital photography in 2008.     In this final episode of 2025 we welcome James Popsys to the pod. Let's call it the holiday special! James is a UK-based landscape and travel photographer known for atmospheric, story-driven images. He has a very unique style and a thoughtful, often funny approach to the creative process. Through his travels and YouTube channel, he shares insights into photography, creativity, and the realities of life on the road. He is also the author of Human Nature, a book that explores landscape photography alongside reflections on people, place, and our relationship with the natural world.In this video we discuss his journey to professional photography including his thoughts on YouTube, content creation, ravels and storytelling. It's a real blast. I want to quickly apologise for any 'talking over' delays in our convo, my connection was acting up a bit during this recording and I inadvertently cut James' off a couple times, which is annoying.
