Welcome back. We here at the Supplementalist like to get creepy at times and what better way to do that than to explore the wonderful world of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. We look at five of the most famous stories today - Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Gretel. These aren’t the animated versions that we grew up with. We hope you enjoyed reading them as much as we did.

Well we finally did it. We finally are getting to the quintessential Christian book for the past 400 years, John Bunyan’s Pilgrims Progress. In a twist of irony we recorded this several months ago and somehow it was missed in the release schedule.

There is a reason that this book has stood the test of time, and why its imagery is so ingrained in western culture, not just the church. If you have never read it take some time and read it, you will be blessed by it. If you have read it? Well now is a great time to read it again.

All podcasts are equal but some are more equal than others. What better way to go into a long weekend than with another episode of the most equal of all the podcasts, the Supplementalist Podcast? Well, we finally did it. We have taken our first foray into the wizarding world of J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter. Good thing we pick books who’s authors and contents are never in any way controversial. We start out by discussing some of the controversy surrounding these books in the evangelical world and why we have decided to read them. We hope that you enjoy them as mach are we did/are.

Happy Monday evening everybody (at least that is when I uploaded this, it may be Saturday for you for all I know) Anyway today we have a book that I would say was one of the more surprising books I have read recently. Surprising in the way that it was completely captivating in unexpected ways. We all hope that it was instructive and helpful and humbling and emotional and any other adjective that you would like to put with it.
