Bombylias took Aneeyah back to the lab. He noticed she seemed different. She looked a bit weak after being locked up in Dragonfly’s prison. When Aneeyah touched the electric honeycomb in Bombylias’s armor, she felt a shock. This honeycomb powered him to make metal beeflies. The shock made her body tingle, and to Bombylias, it looked like lightning. He got scared because he thought she might be in danger. Aneeyah started to fall, but Bombylias caught her.
Aneeyah: I’m okay. I feel much better now.
Bombylias: You scared me! I forgot you have static powers. Why don’t you use them?
Aneeyah: I don’t want to hurt anyone.
She remembered things she had done before, and it made her sad.
Aneeyah: We’re different from everyone else. We don’t belong here. We need to find a peaceful place to live.
Bombylias: We left Diverse City to come to the hills, and we’re still being disturbed.
Aneeyah: We have to go deeper into the hills and mountains.
Bombylias: No, not the mountains. Dragonfly knows we’re there and will look for us.
Aneeyah said, "Then where should we go? There are enemies hiding underground. It might be safer to move further into the mountains. It’ll be harder for them to find us there. The mountains have many tunnels and paths, both natural like caves and man-made like tunnels and bunkers. These underground areas can be simple caves or complex systems used for hiding and protecting important things."
Bombylias agreed. He, his warriors, and Aneeyah made sure they were ready for their journey. Aneeyah even created a special suit for her static powers.
