With a strong background in musical theatre - Angelina has pivoted to our screens, playing Kirby on Australia’s most popular drama series - Home and Away. In this episode we chat all about her story, navigating the performing arts industry, and also focusing on the importance of creating safe spaces within this industry for people of colour.

Tiffi is a singer/songwriter who got her start on SoundCloud when she was just 13 years old with the song 'Peppermint Smiles' which now has over 13 million streams on Spotify alone. Never did she envision herself being an editor and writer for the likes of Vogue Australia, Vogue Living, and GQ. The guest this episode is the lovely Bendere Oboya. Bendere is traditionally a 400m athlete, but has her sights set on the 800m as well. She started her athletics career relatively late for most - 16 - however, in a short space of time, she has become a phenomen - going from a 60 seconds plus 400m athlete to Commonwealth Youth Champion in 2017, 2018 Commonwealth Games representative on the Gold Coast and then the highest placed teenager at the 2019 World Championships. Competing at the Olympics last year was a massive feat for Bendere as she continues her journey. This episode, we talk all about starting her athletics career, her road to the Olympics, being a black woman in Australia, facing comparison with Cathy Freeman and how she’s gained enough confidence to call herself her own role model.
