  • I Don’t Want to See a Pea | Episode 92
    Mar 19 2026

The girls kick things off in What Irritated Me This Week with a mutual disdain for foolishness in all its forms. Jerrilyn is fed up with unprovoked liars, unsolicited opinions, and people who stay minding business that doesn’t pay them. Lynee’, meanwhile, is fighting for her life in airplane seating arrangements—specifically the middle seat, which she believes should be illegal. From armrest wars to people peeking out of her window, the message is clear: if you didn’t pay for the seat, don’t touch the amenities. Period.

In Girl, What Happened, the episode takes a cultural turn as the hosts continue celebrating Women’s History Month by spotlighting the legendary Josephine Baker—entertainer, activist, spy, and global icon who broke barriers while looking incredible doing it. From there, the conversation slides seamlessly into upcoming girls’ trip plans to Thailand, complete with very firm ground rules: be grown, don’t embarrass the group, and absolutely do not expect bail money. This leads to a hilarious rant about international food trauma—specifically British breakfasts, surprise peas, and why Lynee’ does not want to see a single pea on her plate under any circumstances. The title was earned.

As the episode winds down, the girls reflect on how friendships evolve with age, why low‑maintenance friendships are elite, and how making new friends as an adult feels suspicious at best. That nostalgia opens the door to a wild trip down memory lane, where childhood misbehavior and community-level whoopings take center stage. From classroom crimes to belt-induced PTSD, the stories are funny, chaotic, and painfully relatable. Episode 92 is classic She Said It First—equal parts laughs, life lessons, and “we probably shouldn’t be saying this on a podcast, but here we are.”

  • I am Thai-lish | Episode 91
    Mar 12 2026

The girls reunite after some time apart, and the chaos jumps out immediately—just how we like it. In What Irritated Me This Week, Jerrilyn kicks things off by reliving a 15‑hour hostage situation disguised as a braid appointment, complete with the stylist dipping out mid‑head to pick up her kid. Meanwhile, Lynee’ is fed up with everybody trying to scare her out of going to Thailand as if TSA is checking for “orange man activity.” She’s going regardless—passport in hand and peace in her spirit—because one thing she’s not about to do is let global foolishness keep her off a beach. From there, the ladies ease into Girl, What Happened, where they honor Women’s History Month by spotlighting the legendary Barbara Jordan, the political trailblazer who helped send Nixon packing and walked so today’s chaos agents could run.

Together they dive straight into the Dwight Howard/Amy saga, complete with shared toothbrushes, baggies of mystery substances, and public meltdowns no one asked to be included in. They break down why oversharing on the internet is ruining lives, why Royce deserves her vindication tour, and why some folks need to keep their marriages off Instagram Live. And just when you think it can’t get wilder, the ladies stumble into the bizarre trend of “Alpine divorces”—men abandoning their wives in foreign countries like it’s a team-building exercise. Throw in a Serial Killer Museum review that neither of them had any business attending, plus a hilarious conversation about red flags, dating preferences, and why neither of them should date anyone who resembles themselves, and it’s a full ride.

Episode 91 is classic She Said It First: joyful, chaotic, insightful, and very Black. Between the jokes, the gems, and the girl talk, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ remind listeners that boundaries matter, delusion is sometimes self-care, and life is too short not to laugh—even when the content is unhinged.

  • Big Bozo Behavior | Episode 90
    Mar 5 2026

The girls came in hot this week, tag‑teaming life’s chaos like two cousins who’ve had enough and are ready to square up with the universe. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ kick things off by fighting for their lives against Mercury being “in microbraids,” malfunctioning technology, and all-around bad vibes. But the real mess? The world is literally on fire, the government is cutting up like it’s auditioning for a reality show, and somehow the U.S. is beefing with half the globe. Between missile shortages, tragic attacks overseas, and everybody online spiraling, the ladies admit they’re one headline away from pressing “unsubscribe from Earth.” Their coping mechanism? Humor, delusion, and refusing to be serious anywhere outside of therapy and the Lord’s presence.

From there, they roll straight into the good stuff: why everyone is losing their minds on social media, how mental health is hanging on by a bobby pin, and why sometimes the only sane response to global madness is telling people to “go to hell”—respectfully. They also dive into celebrity drama, including Keke Palmer’s NAACP Image Awards jokes and the predictable Barb chaos that followed, plus a hilarious takedown of parasocial celebrity worship. And because no She Said It First episode is complete without relationship foolishness, the hosts unpack delusional love stories, women asking for $50K dating allowances, men who think paying for nails means coochie coupons, and a bride texting her ex “goodbye” the night before her wedding (and being surprised when her fiancé said, “bet”). Through it all, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ keep it real: life is ghetto, relationships are lessons, and sometimes the greatest gift an ex can give you is getting out of your way.

By the end, it’s equal parts comedy, chaos, and church. The girls remind listeners that choosing yourself is always an option, disassociation is valid self-care, and the grass is greener—especially once the clownery clears. Tune in for the laughs, stay for the gems, and prepare to tell someone to “go anywhere that’s not heaven” before the week is over.
