Welcome backkkkkkk, lovers! It’s Back to School season meets the Autumnal Equinox meets the Full Moon in Aries and we couldn’t be happier to reconnect with you after our podcast hiatus... how was your summer?!? We of course here at Savior Complex Inc. had a Transformational Summer and are here to share our findings. Kiko shares on self-comparison and creative paralysis as an obstacle to deeper freedom and joy, putting down the commodification of self in late-stage capitalism, and how that ties into their experience doing a play this summer; Emily discusses how to self-determine your own happiness through acts of agency, sexiness as a portal to reclaiming one’s power, and how that connects to her experience at Edinburgh Fringe in August. We also get into the Cheesecake Factory, airport chair massagers, famous lesbians like Jodie Foster and Nancy Drew (queer-coded), Kiko’s dad’s feedback on our pod (accurate), and the power of boredom. Seems like it’s time to get cozy together, lovers… happy fall and WE MISSED YOU! 🍂

Hiii lovers!! Happy Start of Summer™, Pride Month, Juneteenth, Midsummer, and Summer Solstice (sun emoji). Fresh off a Full Moon in Sag, in this ep, we talk about the spiritual questions currently knocking on our proverbial doors… Emily shares about interiority vs. exteriority, self-valuation, brutal honesty, and how to live for yourself. Kiko discusses their recent paradigm shift and how it connects to the film Arco, making peace with the present, and awe (awwwww). We also get into being bad girls, the defenestration of Prague, the humiliation of doing taxes, and clues to our destiny… plus we get to hear Kiko’s Eckhart Tolle impression. We hope the coming months are juicy, sexy, and blissful for you, lovers, and remember, summer can be anything… 🌈
